Professional Experience
●In an office environment, I worked on markup drawings for schematic, design development, construction
documents, and record drawings. I collected site data in the field, calculated cost estimation for project
proposals, and organized project files of archived work. I reviewed submittals for multiple projects under
construction and assisted in document quality control measures before drawings went out to bid. I
assisted with firm promotional materials when pursuing new work, as well as managed the company
website and Facebook page.
●Worked on a range of projects under the supervision of a senior project manager: worked on schematic
project proposals, participated in construction progress meetings, participated in construction punch-lists,
worked on design development and construction documents, made presentations for Owners, taught on
the education of the LEED system.
●Over a summer, I developed a feasibility evaluation for an engineering office to expand their current
location or relocate; interviewed the firm’s staff to make program decisions on a future building based on
the firm’s current and future needs. I designed a 13,900 square foot office addition for the firm’s
development and growth over the next five years. Produced a model and working set of design
development drawings for the office addition.
●Wrote first manuscript for book: A Builder’s and Homeowner’s Guide to LEED for Homes, currently
awaiting the editing process to be published.
