Professional Experience
♦ Architectural Intern – worked as an intern at an architecture mutli-discipline engineering and interior design firm during each summer of my undergraduate architecture education.
● In an office environment, I worked on markup drawings for schematic, design development, construction documents, and record drawings. I collected site data in the field, calculated cost estimation for project proposals, and organized project files of archived work.
●Worked on a range of projects under the supervision of a senior project manager: working on schematic project proposals, participating in construction progress meetings, participating in construction punch-lists, working on design development and construction documents, making powerpoint presentations for clients, taught on the education of the LEED system.
●Over a summer, I developed a feasibility evaluation for an engineering office to expand at their current location or relocate; interviewed the firm’s staff to make decisions on a future building based on the firm’s current and future needs.
